Fabulous! This is the method I will be using for all roast chickens in the future. And I have a feeling there will be a whole lot of them in this house. Thanks Dorie!

  3. Ha ha, i baked this on 30th oct and have had requests ever since, for the same roast chicken!!
    Did u add the wine?
    i did and my bread didn crisp as some did!

  4. I did add the wine with the oil. The bread turned out crispy on the bottom and pretty mushy on top. We still ate a good portion of it (with the roasted garlic smashed on top as my chicken had no liver with it).
